WHAT WOULD WE DO WITHOUT JAMIE
I can't tell you how much I admire Jamie Oliver.
First it was his School Dinners and now he has started Jamie's Ministry of Food movement... and then I found out that his new restaurant chain, Jamies Italian, will open in our own local Kingston in November. There's one already in Oxford with one opened up just last week in Bath. Whilst his flagship restaurant 'Fifteen' is quite pricey (but a culinary experience that is worth every penny) Jamie's Italian will be much more affordable. The main meal will cost around £12 making it possible to enjoy as a regular eat-out option - however, they don't take bookings so probably a fold up chair would be a good idea for the endless queues! I can't wait to see them making the fresh pasta right in front of me.
I do have to limit the amount of times I can mention Jamie's name in our house as my husband gets a bit jealous although he's a far better chef than that tosser will ever be. (Last couple of lines were added by Pete who as you can tell is also one of his biggest fans...)
